1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of odovera.com and the booking services provided by Affluence Hospitality LLC, which operates the Odovera brand. By requesting a quote, instructing us to book, or using this site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. What we are, and what we are not

Odovera is an independent travel agency and booking intermediary. We are not a car rental company. We do not own, lease, operate, maintain, insure or inspect vehicles, we do not employ counter staff, and we do not set supplier policy or pricing. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any car rental brand, and any brand name or trademark shown on this site is used only to identify a supplier and remains the property of its owner.

When we place a reservation for you, we do so as your agent with a third-party rental supplier. The rental contract is between you and that supplier, formed when you sign the rental agreement at the counter, and is governed by that supplier’s own terms, which you should read.

3. Quotes

Quotes we provide are estimates based on information you give us and on supplier rates available at the time of quoting. They are not offers capable of acceptance until confirmed, and they expire if not accepted. Rates, taxes, fees and availability can change at any time before a reservation is confirmed.

Amounts quoted include the supplier’s base rate, applicable taxes and the mandatory airport, concession and surcharge items known to us, plus any add-on you have requested and any Odovera service fee, which is always shown as a separate line. Amounts do not include items charged by the supplier at or after pickup, such as fuel, tolls, optional coverage bought at the counter, additional-driver fees added at pickup, upgrades, late-return charges, traffic or parking penalties, cleaning charges, or damage assessed by the supplier.

4. Bookings

No reservation exists until we have sent you a supplier confirmation number. A quote, a form submission, a phone conversation or an email expressing interest does not create a booking. You are responsible for checking that every detail on your confirmation — names, dates, times, locations and class — is correct, and for telling us promptly if it is not.

You confirm that the information you give us is accurate, in particular the main driver’s name, age and licence status, and the type of payment card that will be presented at pickup. Inaccurate information is the most common cause of a rental being refused at the counter.

5. Vehicle classes and availability

US car rentals are reserved by vehicle class, not by make or model. Every reservation is for a vehicle in the booked class “or similar”. We cannot and do not guarantee a specific make, model, colour, transmission, drivetrain or optional feature, and requests noted on a reservation are requests to the supplier, not guarantees, unless we have expressly told you in writing that the supplier has committed to them.

6. Comparing suppliers

We compare rental suppliers that are available for your stated location, dates and vehicle class, and present a selection of the options we consider suitable, together with the estimated all-in total for each. We do not represent or warrant that any option we quote is the lowest price available in the market, that we have checked every supplier, or that a lower price is not obtainable elsewhere or directly from a supplier. Which suppliers can be quoted depends on availability at the time of quoting. We are paid different commission rates by different suppliers; this does not change the amount the supplier charges you, and it does not oblige you to accept any option we recommend.

7. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are governed by the supplier’s terms for your specific rate, as set out on your confirmation and summarised in our Cancellation and refunds policy. We do not charge a cancellation fee on a standard free-cancellation booking. A service fee already earned may be non-refundable where stated on your quote.

8. At the counter

The supplier decides at pickup whether to release a vehicle to you, based on your licence, age, identification, payment method and its own policy. We have no authority over that decision. Requirements described on this site are general guidance, not guarantees; the confirmation your agent sends you for your specific booking is what you should rely on.

9. Our liability

We are liable to you for failing to perform our own booking services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, policies, pricing decisions, vehicle condition, safety, cleanliness, availability or conduct of any rental supplier, nor for loss or damage arising from your rental agreement with them, nor for delays, road conditions, weather, traffic, penalties or events outside our reasonable control.

Except where liability cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — our total liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to the service fee you paid us for that booking or, where no service fee was charged, to the commission we received on it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or enjoyment.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

10. Acceptable use of this site

You may not use this site to submit false or fraudulent requests, to scrape or systematically extract content, to interfere with its operation or security, to reverse engineer it, or to reproduce its content commercially without permission. All content on this site, other than third-party trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors.

11. Complaints

Tell us as soon as possible — ideally while you are still at the counter or still holding the vehicle, when problems are far easier to resolve. Email support@odovera.com with your confirmation number. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and will tell you honestly whether the issue is one we can resolve or one that sits with the supplier, in which case we will escalate on your behalf.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Affluence Hospitality LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that State have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings where you live. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page when you make your booking.
