Every rental website is a single-brand shop.
Open any rental company’s website and you see that company’s cars, at that company’s prices. Each one is doing its job, and each one is structurally incapable of telling you that the counter two doors down is cheaper this week.
Price-comparison sites help with the first number and stop there. They rarely show the security deposit, almost never show whether a debit card is accepted at that specific location, and cannot tell you that the one-way drop fee on your route is nothing with one supplier and a substantial charge with the next.
That is the gap we work in. Not a discount and not a secret rate — just somebody checking the options properly and writing down what they found.
Why we can be neutral about it
Odovera does not own vehicles. There is no fleet sitting idle that we need to fill, and no brand we are contractually pushed towards.
Suppliers do pay us different commission rates, which is exactly why we state this plainly: if the supplier that pays us less is the better answer for your trip, we quote it and we tell you it is the one we recommend.
You can check us on it. The quote names every supplier we looked at.
Seven line items, not one
A daily rate is the smallest part of most rental bills. These are the things we check on each supplier before quoting you.

| Airport and concession fees | Airport counters carry recovery fees that can add substantially to the total. They differ by supplier at the same airport. |
| Security deposit | Set per supplier, location, class and payment method. On a debit card this is money out of your balance for the whole trip. |
| Card and ID rules | Whether that specific counter will rent to you at all with the card you are carrying. This is a common reason a rental fails. |
| Young-driver surcharge | Charged per day for drivers 21–24, and excluded from most advertised rates entirely. |
| One-way drop fee | Often the widest gap between suppliers — the same route on the same dates can be nothing with one supplier and a substantial charge with another. |
| Location and shuttle | An off-airport counter can be genuinely cheaper, or a false economy once you count the shuttle and the hour. |

What we are not claiming
We are not claiming to be the cheapest option on every trip, and we do not publish a percentage saved — nobody can honestly promise either. There are trips where booking direct on a corporate or loyalty rate beats anything we can quote, and when that is the case we say so rather than quoting around it.
What we commit to is the work: several suppliers checked for your actual trip, the total written down for each, and the counter rules confirmed before you commit to any of them.
