Downtown, the Medical Center, NASA and The Woodlands are each a substantial drive apart. Size the class for comfort over distance rather than for the cheapest daily rate.
Toll tags
Harris County toll roads are largely cashless. Confirm the supplier’s toll product and its charging model before pickup, particularly on short trips where a flat daily fee can cost more than the tolls themselves.
Heat and air conditioning
From May to September, working air conditioning is not a comfort question. If you are collecting a car and the climate control is weak, raise it at the counter before you leave the lot, not after.
