What to know before you book here
Winter is peak, not summer
If you are travelling between January and April, book early. Rates and availability in this market move against the national pattern.
Unpaved roads
Many of the best routes near Sedona and the Grand Canyon include unpaved sections. Most US rental agreements prohibit driving on unpaved roads and void coverage if you do. We will tell you plainly which supplier terms say what.
Heat and range
Between June and September, plan fuel and charging stops deliberately. In an EV, desert heat and air conditioning together cut usable range noticeably.

What this class really meansOn terminal logistics. Counter locations, shuttle arrangements and opening hours at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are set by the airport and the rental suppliers and do change. Your agent confirms the current pickup instructions for your specific supplier and booking in writing before you travel, rather than relying on anything printed on a website.
