What to know before you book here
AWD is not guaranteed by class
Booking an "SUV" does not guarantee all-wheel drive at any US supplier. If you need AWD or 4WD for a ski trip, it must be requested as a specific note on the reservation, and even then it is a request rather than a guarantee. We will tell you exactly what the supplier has committed to.
Colorado traction law
In winter, Colorado enforces traction requirements on parts of I-70. Snow tyres are not standard on rental fleets. Ask us and we will confirm what the supplier equips and what your obligations are.
Ski racks and chains
Racks are a paid add-on with limited stock in peak weeks; chains are prohibited by many suppliers. Both need to be settled before you book, not at the counter at 6 PM on a Friday in January.

What this class really meansOn terminal logistics. Counter locations, shuttle arrangements and opening hours at Denver International Airport are set by the airport and the rental suppliers and do change. Your agent confirms the current pickup instructions for your specific supplier and booking in writing before you travel, rather than relying on anything printed on a website.
